Ashtanga yoga is a dynamic series of poses which is guided by the pace of your breath. By practicing this series of postures you stretch and engage all the muscles in your body, as well as giving attention to your organs and joints.
This foundations course is the perfect way to get familiar with this traditionally challenging set of poses. In four mornings we go through the techniques of postures in detail so that you will feel safe practicing them in a class setting. Safe for your body, within your limits and your own strength and flexibility levels. In addition we focus on breathing techniques and your core.
This workshop is taught by Hedi de Vree and Ellen Paalman. In this foundation course in a small group with two teachers is plenty of space for personal attention.
