The Parliament of Pain – Fresh Meat Events

Sunday October 2nd, 19.15 – 22.00: OPEN TRAINING

The Parliament of Pain is a roller derby league in The Hague. Twice a year, we organize a FRESH MEAT EVENT, an opportunity for those who are interested to watch and try this thrilling sport.

The event is spread over TWO EVENINGS:
On THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 29th, we demonstrate a real roller derby match. There will be people available who can explain the game and answer all your questions. You can taste the awesome roller derby atmosphere, and afterwards you can meet the members of PoP for a drink.
On SUNDAY, OCTOBER 2nd, you can try it out yourself during the open training. There is a fee of 5 euros, for skate and safety gear rental and you get a cool goodie bag!

We are looking for ALL KINDS OF NEW MEMBERS:
– skaters (experience isn’t necessary, we’ll teach you all you need to know!)
– referees (also on skates)
– non-skating officials
– people with a first aid diploma
– photographers
– announcers
– and all kinds of volunteers.
