Last Thursday we visited the Harbour Club Kitchen. Yes, that’s right: Kitchen. After being a luxury fish restaurant for years, they decided to make some changes: the interior, staff, the menu and the name. Same spot, different elements.
We tried a lot of new things from the new menu. At the ‘old’ Harbour Club, you would order a main (mostly fish) course just for you. Now they serve smaller portions, so you can try and share a few different things. I love this concept, because sharing is cariiiinnng!
Besides the portions, they also made some changes in the food they serve. They still make me happy with their fish (we tried the oysters, crab and sushi, all #foodporn), but they also have a few new meat options on the menu. What about rib-eye and rotissier chicken? Sounds pretty good to me!
We also tried the Japanse wagyu, and oh my, this was by far my favorite dish of the night. The meat was so tender, juicy and full of flavours, I’ll definitely be back to eat it again!
We were kind of stuffed already (but hey, I never leave a restaurant without eating a dessert first), so the dessert arrived,. They now serve the “the chocolate dream”, I think the name “chocolate melt down” fits this dish better. It’s a chocolate case, with on the inside ganache and fudge. Then they cover the case with hot pure chocoate, so the case itself melts (check out the video)! CAN I GET AN AMEN?! This was delicious!
Go check it out and tell me if you also had a melt down 😉
