STOP! Burger time!
On Instagram I check all the pictures tagged with #denhaagtogo, I saw a lot of pictures taken at BIT Grill and Café. What I saw in the pictures: meat. Meat everywhere. Plates filled with it! Like I said, so many of you tagged us (thanks!!), we had to try this restaurant. And so we did.
BIT is short for Best In Town, well that’s a hell of a statement to make. We wanted to test this for ourselves, so we went for a BIG lunch. We received the menu and there it was: meat all over! This place has it all; burgers, pulled pork, entrecôte, chicken, boeuf Bourguignon and the famous Hereford rib roast or rump for 2 persons. This Hereford cow is a big thing, as they say, “The Hereford is one of the Irelands oldest native beef breeds, originating in the County of Herefordshire in the mid 1700’s”.
Well, so many choices 🙂
I have to admit, lately we’re having some cravings for burgers. My BF likes them so much, so I was quite surprised when he ordered something else… He ordered the pulled pork sandwich and it was HUGE (check out the picture). He liked it, although it was a bit too much. I ordered the classic burger. I have to tell you something, I always have trouble eating burgers because of the -freaking- bread. Most of the time it’s too soft and like a sponge, filled with the burgers’ juice. It was a struggle but I have to admit: BIT’s classic burger has the best bread for burgers in town. No stains on my shirt this time, yay!
My advise for you, if you’re a meat lover, this is your go to in The Hague. I’ll be back for the 2 persons plates, I want to (m)eat this Hereford cow for sure 😉
