About

This cute part of Den Haag is called the red village. It was build in 1874 as the “Maatschappij van het nut”, to household and re-educate antisocial people. They recently renovated all the buildings for students. Painting by Hermanus Berserik (Den Haag 1921 – 2002), he made this with his kids.
